Gossip Girl Bugg
Some think Gossip Girl is horrible show with too much plotting, lying, and backstabbing, but that’s exactly why it’s been so successful. It’s so far from reality there’s no way anyone should take it seriously. The show is so out there it’s funny : not the haha kind of funny – more the silent amusement type of funny.
Lines like this are delivered with a straight face:
“The lord can not enter a body sullied by alcohol” -Georgina
“Good because I like to be the one doing the entering”-Chuck Bass
“Why is it when you say ritual I think human sacrifice?” -Chuck Bass
Gossip Girl can even use biblical quotes to justify bad behavior. When Georgina, a bible lover, is about to do something horrible, she says “They shall know I am the lord when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.”
The inspiration for this post occurred when I tried to write my friend who runs a great blog called Luvvbugg that captures clever quotes and snippets on dating. I sent him quotes from Gossip Girl for his blog, but then realized it wasn’t the best fit for a blog about reality.
