Q:WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
There was a guy at my elementary school who had a mailbag instead of a book bag. He may well have been mocked, but I can only remember the mailbag, not the consequences.
Those clothes are too “matchy-matchy”
Haha so someone close to me was looking at some clothes and said “those clothes are too matchy-matchy.” She meant they were a little too metrosexual.
I just so love language and little expressions that sort of resonate and so capture exactly what needs to be said.
Anyway, these are the shorts that earned that phrase:
just made this - it’s good. I’m not sick, but recently I got all curious about Cayenne.
BRUNO MARS - SOMEWHERE IN BROOKLYN LYRICS
with music :)
My current obsessive addiction. 20 listens recently! Thanks itunes.
The girl at the supermarket started calling me “vegetable boy.” I guess that means my shopping habits are distinctive. I was like “Thanks produce girl.” I like it when people randomly joke around with me unexpectedly….
Q:*g* Where do you find all these articles? All your posts come from an abundant of different sources. And thanks! As a psych major, this blog really sparks my interest.
Oh god, I’m ridiculously compulsive and controlled by my curiosity. Everything you see on the site comes from one of three places:
1) Rss feeds - lots of great psych and other rss feeds - and I subscribe to your Tumblr and lots of tumblrs via RSS - it’s just a way better way to live
2) Facebook friends posting crap
3) Random google searches - things I had to search about because I was just curious
4) Well sure why not have more than 3? Digg, Reddit, all those things - when I have time. People’s twitters. Google news. Yahoo news.
On an average day I look at hundreds of headlines if not thousands. Good thing I’m a ridiculously fast reader and it doesn’t take much time. But…that’s average which means some days no headlines, and some days lots more than that…
In general I try to attribute every post to a source, and if there’s no source, you should assume I got there from an RSS feed or random browsing….
PS Tumblr posted my entire queue today - which it was not supposed to do. It was only supposed to publish 3-4 things….
When my brain is multitasking, I feel like I’m stalling on several things at once.
The thing about trying to think while driving or caged in boring conversations - is that you can’t really do it all that well - I feel like the best you can hope for is to be struck by some sort of unconscious conclusion….So I kind of feel like it’s best to let mind zone out during those times of lull, rather than forcing things….
Sometimes your brain makes so much noise that you can’t hear what your heart is saying.
I’m starting to like Miley - one of my friends forwarded me one of her vids…
I like her voice -it’s deeper than a usual woman’s voice, but still womanly - it has this unique timbre…
I also like the autotune she uses haha - I just like the electronic vibe - feels energizing and yet not too euro-clubby at the same time…
Dave Matthews’ Typical Situation….so liberating…
